Echodyne is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer in Kirkland, WA to lead secure development and deployment practices across software and hardware-in-the-loop environments. You will own the DevOps space, define the CI/CD strategy, and drive secure pipelines while enabling rapid innovation.

The role emphasizes strategic architecture, migration to cloud-native platforms, and strong collaboration with cybersecurity leadership to meet NIST/CMMC standards. A high-impact, hands-on leader is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in DevOps/Sec experience.
• Experience leading migrations from on-prem CI/CD to cloud-native (GitLab).
• Proficient with AWS/Azure/GCP and Kubernetes/Docker.
• Strong scripting in Python/Go/Bash to support test automation.
• Security-focused with knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and enterprise controls.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Architecture: Define the overarching DevOps vision and mentor teams.
• CI/CD Transformation: Architect pipelines and migrate Jenkins to GitLab in a cloud environment.
• Enterprise Shift-Left Security: Integrate automated security testing and remediation workflows.
• Secure Infrastructure & Compliance: Establish IaC standards and ensure NIST 800-171/CMMC compliance.
• Manage the CI/CD Pipeline & Infrastructure: Own infra for all software development, tests, and version control.
