Job summary

SHI International Corp. is expanding its Databricks capability within the Data and AI practice, seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead the technical side of Databricks pursuits.

You will qualify opportunities, conduct technical discovery with customer architects and data leaders, design target-state platforms, and own the technical win. Mature migration of Hadoop/Spark estates to Lakehouse and support AI/ML initiatives are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Extensive Databricks expertise and lakehouse architecture experience.
• Enterprise migration and consolidation experience.
• Production machine learning/AI experience.
• Principal-level technical leadership in customer engagements.
• Presales or delivery leadership experience including scoping and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical side of Databricks pursuits from qualification to design and risk assessment.
• Provide architectural oversight through delivery and ensure alignment with initial scope.
• Shape Databricks service offerings with repeatable delivery standards.
• Partner with Databricks field teams and specialist architects on joint accounts.
• Develop technical content for proposals and SOWs and build customer relationships.
