NeoGenomics Laboratories, Inc. seeks a Principal Business Data Systems Analyst to lead the design and governance of the Test Compendium data model, the governed source of truth for master test and product data that feeds NeoLIMS, Billing, Analytics, the website, and downstream systems.

This role translates business requirements into clear technical specs and URS for developer execution. This hybrid onsite position in Ramsey, NJ, Fort Myers, FL or Durham, NC offers a Monday–Friday day shift, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, data, information systems, life sciences, or business field.
• 12+ years in business systems analysis, data modeling, or ownership.
• Healthcare, clinical laboratory, or diagnostics IT experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical specifications, URS, data-model designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Collect and translate business needs into detailed functional and technical requirements, URS, datamodel designs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and developer-ready specs.
• Own and evolve the Test Compendium data model—its tables, relationships, hierarchies, attributes, metadata, and workflows across environments.
• Provide platform strategy and advisory guidance, evaluating design trade-offs, managing technical debt, and aligning architecture with goals.
• Partner with Enterprise Master Data Management and Program Manager to shape the Test Compendium roadmap and estimates.
• Manage and oversee developer work, providing technical direction, design guidance, and code reviews to ensure release readiness.
