Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to lead advanced data science initiatives in a remote US-based setting. You will own end-to-end model development, from hypothesis testing and forecasting to deployment and validation, mentoring junior team members and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.

The role emphasizes building scalable analytical solutions, improving data pipelines, and applying probabilistic graph models and modern ML frameworks to solve complex business questions

Qualifications

  • 15–18 years of experience in advanced data science roles.
  • Extensive leadership experience in deployment of statistical and ML solutions.
  • Expertise in hypothesis testing, regression techniques, and advanced statistics.

Responsibilities

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Data Scientist - R01568403 to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will lead advanced data science efforts that turn complex business questions into scalable analytical and machine learning solutions. The Principal Data Scientist will own the full lifecycle of model development, from hypothesis testing and forecasting through deployment and validation. This person will also partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, mentor junior team members, and help improve the efficiency of data pipelines and modeling workflows in a remote environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $190,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust statistical models and machine learning algorithms
