Responsibilities

  • Project Execution: Direct end-to-end data science projects, covering initial data extraction and pipeline building through to model validation, production deployment, and ongoing monitoring.

  • Algorithm & Model Development: Build, train, and refine statistical models, deep learning frameworks, and machine learning solutions tailored to solve strategic business challenges.

  • Data Engineering & Integration: Clean, transform, and synthesize disparate structured and unstructured data sources into robust, production-ready analytical pipelines.

  • Operationalization: Deploy models into production environments utilizing REST services, execution scripts, automated triggers, and continuous performance tracking.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Translate complex quantitative findings into compelling executive narratives and interactive data visualizations for non-technical business partners.

  • Mentorship: Provide daily technical coaching, code reviews, and project guidance to one or two junior data scientists.

  • Continuous Innovation: Research and integrate emerging analytical methodologies, open-source libraries, and data tools to continuously improve technical capabilities.

  • 4+ years of hands-on professional experience building and deploying predictive models and advanced analytics solutions, ideally within a client-facing or advisory capacity.

  • Expertise applying statistical techniques, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing/text classification.

  • Fluency in Python and SQL for advanced data manipulation, feature engineering, and model development.

  • Hands-on experience leveraging high-volume processing tools such as PySpark, Scala, or modern distributed computing technologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage data science solutions across the full software and analytics lifecycle.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of presenting technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

  • Experience developing analytical applications or predictive models within high-volume communications or networked infrastructure sectors.

  • Familiarity with enterprise data lakes, Hadoop frameworks, and large-scale ETL workflow design.

  • Experience crafting custom web visualizations, analytical dashboards, or interactive decision tools.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: Competitive market base salary commensurate with experience (exact range dependent on candidate location and candidate qualifications).

  • Benefits: Full health, dental, and vision insurance options, retirement plan matching, paid time off, and continuous professional development support.
