Job summary
Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting a Principal Scientist in Data, Data Science & AI (DDSAI) - Immunology. The role will be located at one of our offices in Cambridge, MA; Spring House, PA; San Diego, CA; Titusville, NJ; or Raritan, NJ.
The Principal Scientist will lead DDSAI strategies, partner with Immunology teams, and translate data science opportunities into practical solutions to improve decision making and development outcomes. Travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Masters degree with 4+ years in pharma/biotech, data science, AI, analytics, or related field.
- Cross-functional, matrixed collaboration experience.
- Translate scientific needs into data/AI solutions.
- Experience with emergent AI tech including generative AI.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare datasets including imaging/real-world data.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to DDSAI priorities across projects and collaborations.
- Define and execute data science, AI, and analytics initiatives.
- Design reusable data capabilities and scalable workflows.
- Drive collaboration with Immunology R&D teams and platform teams.
- Communicate recommendations in technical and leadership forums.
- Support decision making and research execution through data insights.
