Job summary

DNA seeks a Principal Data Scientist to lead end-to-end AI/ML initiatives from concept to production in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. You will own the full lifecycle, build scalable pipelines, and drive strategic directions for data-driven decision making across multiple business units.

You will collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to deploy robust AI solutions, ensure governance, and deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on experience in applied machine learning, data science, or AI engineering with production deployments.
• Experience leading complex end-to-end data science projects from problem definition through deployment and impact measurement.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and strategy without direct management authority.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of high-impact AI/ML solutions from whiteboard to production, writing substantial code.
• Architect and ship production-grade AI systems across underwriting, claims, operations, and finance.
• Design, write, test, and deploy production-grade ML systems using Python and cloud tooling.
• Engineer scalable ML pipelines for training, inference, and monitoring.
• Ship end-to-end: CI/CD, automated retraining, drift detection, and governance.
