Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Principal Data Science Engineer to join the Digital Service Performance and Analytics team. You will transform raw information into strategic intelligence shaping customer behaviors and market trends for the Verizon Consumer Group.

You will architect products and assets for the Digital Sales Organization, planning & operations, and service teams by performing complex analyses using big data technologies.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience in data roles.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant work experience in data science/analysis.
• Able to manage data, perform analysis, and visualize results.
• Expertise with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery/Vertex AI/Looker/LookML).
• Experience with Looker & Qlik and enterprise-scale datasets.
• Proficiency in LookML in Looker and SQL.
• Experience as data scientist, analyst, or statistical modeler.
• Experience with SQL and ETL processes.
• Experience leveraging AI tools like Claude, Antigravity, CO-Pilot.

Responsibilities
