Job summary

PowerPlan in Atlanta, GA seeks a principal-level engineer to shape the reliability and reach of the cloud-based Data Hub. You will own end-to-end data pipelines from Databricks and ADF ingestion through transformation to secure OData delivery, and set engineering standards across a multi-repo codebase.

This role spans both application and data engineering, offering high autonomy to raise the bar and drive improvements that reach every customer of the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of software engineering with ownership of services, data platforms, or cloud-hosted systems.
• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and data pipelines in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data pipelines from Databricks and ADF ingestion through transformation to secure OData delivery.
• Lead reliability, observability, tests, and production readiness across a multi-repo Data Hub codebase.
• Balance application and data engineering work and drive cross-repo improvements with measurable customer impact.
• Design and maintain OData reporting APIs and identity/security flows (Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC, SSO).
• Mentor peers, raise the bar on code reviews, and push for scalable, robust data delivery.
