JOB SUMMARY: The incumbent uses data and technology to transform processes and products. This role requires strong data infrastructure, data architecture, and operational skills, as well as project leadership and communication skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration to deliver stellar products.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage and delegate tasks to a team of data engineers.
2. Ensure proper execution of team duties aligned with business vision and objectives.
3. Understand business processes and their modeling in various systems.
4. Lead partnerships with business users, technology teams, and executives to understand data needs and create solutions.
5. Design, organize, and implement data structures, workflows, and integrations between enterprise platforms.
6. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build API integrations for increasing data volume and complexity.
7. Establish best practices on data integration/engineering and future data infrastructure.
8. Manage and improve database, query, tools, and solutions performance.
9. Create and maintain data warehouses, databases, tables, SQL queries, and ingestion pipelines for reports, dashboards, and analysis.
10. Write complex queries to transform raw data into accessible models.
11. Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
12. Analyze data patterns.
13. Improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
14. Collaborate with analytics, data science, and engineering teams to automate data analysis and visualization, and advise on data infrastructure.
15. Document technical designs.
16. Select, develop, and evaluate staff for department efficiency.
17. Coordinate and communicate across disciplines.
18. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
19. Demonstrate company's core values.
20. Note: Due to exposure to PHI data, this role is considered high risk and privileged.
