Job summary

ON Data Staffing seeks a Principal Data Consulting Lead to help enterprise organisations modernise data platforms and build scalable cloud data solutions. Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, cloud platforms or technical consulting.
• 5+ years of client-facing consulting or professional services experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL, data modelling, data warehousing and cloud data architecture.
• Experience with modern platforms including BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake or equivalent technologies.
• Knowledge of data engineering tools such as dbt, Airflow, Spark, Dataflow or Kafka.

Our client, an established Data & Analytics consultancy, is seeking a Principal Data Consulting Lead to help enterprise organisations modernise their data platforms and build scalable cloud data solutions.

This is a senior, client-facing technical leadership role combining enterprise data strategy, cloud architecture, consulting and delivery oversight.

The successful candidate will work with senior stakeholders and engineering teams to design modern data platforms, guide complex transformation programmes and establish the foundations for advanced analytics and AI.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong understanding of data governance, security, data quality and performance optimisation.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and advise senior client stakeholders.
• Experience supporting presales, technical proposals and delivery planning.
• Google Cloud data technologies including BigQuery, Dataflow and Pub/Sub.
• Enterprise data migrations and cloud modernisation.
• Lakehouse architecture, data mesh and event-driven systems.
• Data platforms supporting AI/ML and advanced analytics.
