You will champion data mesh, governance, and data foundations while mentoring engineers and collaborating with leadership and clients to shape long-term, scalable data strategies for production AI systems.

Qualifications

• Experience defining data architecture across warehouses, lakes, and lakehouse environments.
• Govern data lineage, quality, cataloging, and access for AI agents.
• Work with batch/streaming data systems, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set the standard for data architecture across warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse environments.
• Design for data and AI governance including lineage, quality, cataloging, and access control for AI agents.
• Define vision for batch and streaming data systems at scale and the orchestration that runs them.
• Champion enterprise data modeling across dimensional, Data Vault, data mesh, and data product paradigms.
• Own architecture of data foundations for AI/ML at scale, including feature stores and vector store strategy.
• Architect semantic layers, knowledge graphs, and unstructured data pipelines that give AI agents trusted business context.
• Drive infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability standards for data platforms.
• Champion performance, scalability, cost, and reliability across the data estate.
• Own security, governance, and compliance posture across data assets (GDPR, SOC2, etc.).
• Hands-on: prototype, write production code, and review designs with delivery teams.
