We're Hiring: Data Architect (Azure Cloud)
Are you ready to shape the future of data? We’re looking for a dynamic Data Architect to design and manage our Azure-based data ecosystem—powering everything from daily insights to cutting-edge AI initiatives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Architecture:
- Create and manage the overall data architecture including data flows, storage and access.
- Design and develop data models.
- Participate in assessing the current data warehouse, pipelines, structure and architect as cost effective, scalable solutions to support and scale of the business.
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data solutions.
- Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to create and maintain dashboards, reports, data dictionaries and documentation.
- Identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Monitor and investigate ways to improve data performance, including providing timely access to data and minimizing the cost of the warehouse.
- Capacity Planning to assess future capacity and recommend upgrades.
- Planning and executing data migrations, ensuring data is transferred and integrated accurately and efficiently.
- Create and maintain data architecture diagrams.
- Assist in implementing necessary upgrades and enhancements.
- Assist in developing the data and artificial intelligence roadmaps.
- Collaborate with other architects regarding data delivery.
- Work with vendors to assist in managing the warehouse and developing test strategies for improvements.
Governance, Security and Compliance
- Lead effort to create, implement and manage update data governance framework to ensure data is managed effectively and consistently.
- Assist in developing data catalog and metadata management.
- Define and enforce data quality standards, ensuring compliance with finance regulations and industry standards.
- Establish roles and responsibilities for data, ensuring clear accountability for quality and security.
- Collaborate with the Network Architect to ensure efficient and secure data flow within the IT infrastructure,
- Collaborate with the Security Team to implement security measures for data.
Artificial Intelligence
- Partner with the AI Strategist on implementation of AI technology.
- Assist in managing the AI Roadmap and translating impacts to the Data Roadmap.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer or Information Science or a related field or acceptable combination of education, training and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience working as an Data Architect
- 3+ years creating, maintaining or leading data governance
- Proficiency in cloud-based data management platforms (i.e. Azure)
- Experience as a Data Architect in a heavy compliance regulated organization
- Experience with data modeling and governance principles
- Building, Managing and troubleshooting data warehouses
- Documenting Data Architecture
- Experience as a Data Architect in a highly regulated organization
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working with a Data Lake
- Experience working in organizations with Professional Services, Tax, or Finance Services
- Collaborating with Managed Services Organizations
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms and frameworks
