Job summary

Canvas Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Principal Data Analytics Engineer to lead analytical tool development and enterprise dashboards for missile defense and space control programs.

You will advance scheduling tooling, data visualization, and rapid delivery of robust capabilities while operating with minimal supervision and maintaining a TS/SCI‑level readiness or the ability to obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a STEM field with 12+ years of engineering experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 20+ years of experience
• Ability to develop analytical and visualization tools
• Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
• Active security clearance at required level (e.g., TS/SCI) or ability to obtain it
• Experience with Palantir’s AI-based software development environments

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical tools and interactive dashboards for enterprise data visualization
• Design, build, and maintain scheduling and analytical tools for continuous tracking and optimization
• Provide database management support and assist with SharePoint site administration
• Translate high-level objectives into fully developed tools without step-by-step guidance
