Capital One seeks a Principal Associate, Data Analyst - Enterprise Risk to leverage analytic and technical skills to build well‑managed data solutions and tackle business problems. The role spans Innovation, Business Intelligence and Data Management, with responsibilities to mine data, create dashboards, and ensure data quality.

The ideal candidate has a quantitative degree, 3–5+ years of analytics experience, and proficiency in Python/R/Spark/SQL, plus experience with AWS services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 5+ years analytics experience, or a Master's plus 3+ years analytics with degree to be completed by start date.
• At least 3 years of experience with at least one scripting language.
• At least 3 years of experience using a business intelligence visualization tool.
• At least 3 years of experience querying and analyzing data languages and platforms.

Responsabilités

• Mine complex data sources and build self-service data solutions.
• Partner with the business to design dashboards for insights and metrics.
• Drive data quality management including metadata and lineage.
• Collaborate with Tech teams on data security and access governance.
