Job summary

Forcepoint seeks a Principal Cyber Engineer in the United States to lead installation, configuration, integration, and training for our COTS cyber products. You will ensure secure deployments and deliver comprehensive customer enablement.

You will architect REST API integrations across SIEMs, SOAR platforms, identity providers, and cloud services while mentoring engineers and collaborating with sales and product leadership to drive technical wins and roadmap alignment.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
8+ years of cybersecurity experience spanning practices/methodologies, application design, and/or operational environments.
Proven ability to coordinate collaboratively with customers and across multiple internal departments.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering, installation, configuration, integration, and training for Forcepoint COTS cyber products.
Deliver training, troubleshooting, and on-site support to customers, including version upgrades.
Prepare technical documentation, including as-built designs, requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures; produce executive briefings and EBR-ready deliverables for customer and Forcepoint leadership.
Provide technical briefings to customer and Forcepoint corporate leadership as required.
Act as a trusted technical advisor to key accounts; partner with account executives and sales leadership to drive technical wins, support renewal strategy, identify expansion opportunities, and influence the customer\'s long-term security roadmap.
Architect and lead complex REST API integration engagements across SIEMs, SOAR platforms, identity providers, and cloud-native services; provide technical mentorship to junior engineers on API and automation best practices.
Serve as the primary voice of the customer to Forcepoint product and engineering leadership; proactively document and elevate product gaps and feature requests to directly influence the product roadmap.
Serve as technical lead within the Professional Services team; mentor and develop Associate (Prof3) and Senior (Prof4) engineers on deployment practices, integration techniques, and customer engagement standards.
