Job summary

Target is hiring a Principal Engineer for Cybersecurity Incident Response to shape the engineering platforms and playbooks that detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats. You will lead design, development, and lifecycle management of SecOps and SOAR capabilities, guiding teams across multiple portfolios.

You will also mentor engineers and analysts, translate investigation requirements into scalable tech, and ensure security, reliability, and performance throughout the incident response

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology development, cybersecurity engineering, security operations, or related services.
• Advanced Python programming and software engineering skills including APIs and testing.
• Strong leadership capabilities and ability to mentor engineers and analysts.

• Set and communicate the technical vision for incident response engineering.
