Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer/Principal Cyber Systems Engineer in San Diego, CA. The role involves deploying complex secure systems, performing hands-on installation, and maintaining Linux/Windows/cloud environments with strong emphasis on security hardening.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related discipline; with 2 years of experience, or 0 years with a Masters.
- Experience administering RHEL systems and applying STIGs.
- Familiarity with RMF lifecycle and log analysis with Splunk.
Responsibilities
- Join deployment team supporting initial deployment, operations, and maintenance of a complex system.
- Perform hands-on installation, staging, and transport of equipment up to 40 pounds.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment processes.
- Configure and maintain secure Linux/Windows/cloud OS with patching and hardening.
- Collect, audit, and store log data for system reviews and accounting requirements.
- Develop artifacts to support assessment and authorization activities.
