Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing cost engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Expertise in tooling cost estimation, design, materials, fabrication methods, and lifecycle costs.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, production economics, and total cost.
• Proven ability to develop, validate, and present detailed cost models and assessments.
• Ability to evaluate global cost competitiveness amid geopolitical developments and tariffs.
• Experience in a consulting, engineering, or strategic cost-analysis environment.
• Proficiency with cost-estimation methodologies and analytical tools; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and projects.

• Develop detailed cost estimates and models for tooling, processes, equipment, and production needs.
• Evaluate tooling costs, materials, fabrication methods, and supplier economics.
• Analyze cost structures to identify drivers, reductions, and inefficiencies.

• Assess the impact of geopolitical developments, tariffs, labor markets, and supply chains on costs.
• Conduct independent research to validate cost assumptions and compare alternatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost accuracy and estimation methodologies.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable client recommendations.
• Present findings to clients and leadership; collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and consulting teams.
• Monitor manufacturing technologies and market trends affecting costs; uphold integrity and collaboration.
