Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Controls Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years designing and supporting industrial automation systems.
• Extensive experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
• Strong HMI development, networking, and control system architecture expertise.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial protocols.
• Proven ability to lead decisions, mentor engineers, and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical authority for PLC, HMI, and data integration platforms.
• Lead controls scope for capital projects from concept to commissioning.
• Develop control philosophies, network architectures, and system layouts.
• Create and optimize PLC programs with AB and Siemens platforms.
• Define usable HMI standards for operator effectiveness.
• Architect data collection systems, historians, and MES integrations.
• Provide technical leadership during commissioning and ramp-up.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and documentation for control systems.
