Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator – Level 3 to join our Magna, UT team. This position is 100% onsite with a 9/80 schedule and every other Friday off, overseeing contract reviews, FAR/DFAR guidance, and coordination with the Program Contracting Officer.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree (or Master’s) with 3–5+ years of contracts experience, and must be eligible for a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of contracts experience or Master’s with 3+ years of contracts experience (or 4+ years in lieu)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
• Knowledge of multiple contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost-Plus)

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze requests for proposals and contracts and changes for contractual-based risks, acceptability, and revisions.
• Provide contract guidance on FAR/DFAR requirements and compliance.
• Deliver Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Accession List (DAL).
• Partner with Program Contracting Officer.
• Support Supply Chain Manager in subcontract execution compliance.
• Provide contract interpretation and execution.
• Support Program Change Requests (PCR) review and approval.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

In this job, you will:

• Review and analyze requests for proposals and contracts and changes for contractual based risks, acceptability, and recommended revisions.
• Provide contract guidance on Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) requirements and compliance.
• Provide delivery of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Accession List (DAL) items.
• Partner with Program Contracting Officer.
• Support Supply Chain Manager in subcontract execution compliance.
• Provide contract interpretation and execution.
• Support Program Change Requests (PCR) review and approval.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional contracts experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant professional contracts experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
• Knowledge of multiple contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials or Cost-Plus Fixed Fee

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience within aerospace or defense
• Experience with incentive fee and award fee contract types
• Contract Management Certification (Certified Professional Contract Manager, Certified Commercial Contract Manager, Certified Federal Contract Manager, Certified Contract Management Associate)

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
