Job summary

Lovelytics seeks a Senior Data Visualization Consultant (Principal Consultant) to deliver semantic reporting, dashboarding, and analytics output. You will partner with clients to understand requirements and use Tableau, Cognos, and Power BI to deliver outstanding solutions.

You should be comfortable in a collaborative, dynamic environment with a passion for turning data into meaningful insights. This role supports remote work options, with engagements across the Americas.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 4-6 years experience in a BI/Analytics role.
• Experience developing semantic layer/reporting layer data sources using SQL, SSIS, PowerQuery, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, and Knime.
• Experience building analytics with Power BI.
• Python experience for data analysis, automation, or visualization preferred.
• IBM Cognos Analytics is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and QA dashboards.
• Exposure to Databricks is a plus.

Lovelytics is seeking a Senior Data Visualization Consultant (Principal Consultant) with experience delivering Power BI dashboards to client engagements.

This Principal Consultant will play a key role in delivering on client engagements related to semantic reporting, dashboarding, and overall analytics output. In this role you'll partner with Lovelytics' innovative clients to understand requirements, and utilize tools such has Tableau, Cognos, and Power BI, to deliver outstanding solutions. In addition to the technical capabilities for this role, we are looking for someone who wants to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and inclusive environment and has a passion for bringing meaning to data.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Utilize consulting and technical skills to be able to work in a client-facing project environment independently.
• Collaborate with other team members to successfully deliver on projects.
• Work effectively and directly communicate with both internal and client and/or partner teams.
• Develop full ownership of your execution on client engagements, you'll become involved in the project planning and solution stages of engagements as well.
• Edit, write, and troubleshoot multi-layered and challenging data calculations
• Create accurate and advanced analytics dashboards (PowerBI) that meet the requirements of clients that maintain logic and integrity
• Develop wireframes and/or mockups for use cases using tools like Figma, Balsamiq, etc
• Analyze data trends and contribute to data transformation preparation.
• Workwith engagement leads and directors to gain exposure in the design and architecture of solutions

Our Ideal Candidate's Skills and Experiences:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 4-6years' experiencein a BI/Analytics role. At least 2 yearsworking directly with clients and/or external stakeholders.
• Experience developing semantic layer/reporting layer/gold layer data sources for analytics use cases using tools like: SQL, SSIS, PowerQuery, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, and Knime.
• Experience building actionable analytics using Power BI
• Programming experience in Python for data analysis, automation, or data visualization is preferred.
• Familiarity with IBM Cognos Analytics is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot and QA analytical dashboards to ensure they meet requirements and maintain logical integrity
• Exposure to and experience with Databricks a plus**
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understands and utilizes Lovelytics tools and client tools
