Job summary

Lovelytics, a Databricks-focused data and AI consulting firm, is hiring an Engagement Manager in the US. You will lead strategic client relationships, oversee delivery across multi-disciplinary teams, and drive account growth with revenue targets.

The role blends client leadership, delivery management, technical fluency, and commercial savvy to ensure outcomes beyond the deck. Strong communication and data/cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in consulting, client-facing delivery, or solution-based account management.
  • Background in data, analytics, data engineering, or cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and accounts valued at $250K-$2M+
  • Strong understanding of data strategy, modern data stack technologies, and delivery lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and with evolving client needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to client stakeholders.
  • Oversee day-to-day delivery of data consulting engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Translate business objectives into data solutions in collaboration with Solution Architects and other engineers
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, scope changes, and resource allocation.
  • Own revenue and margin targets across assigned accounts.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing clients and support new business development with an annual goal of $2.5+mil in account growth.
  • Lead multi-functional teams across multiple workstreams; support team coaching and career development.
  • Ensure alignment between client expectations and internal delivery capacity.

As a Lovelytics Engagement Manager, you will lead strategic client relationships from initiation through delivery. You will act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders within your aligned Industry, oversee multi-disciplinary project teams, and be responsible for both delivery excellence and account growth. This role requires a blend of client leadership, delivery management, technical fluency, and commercial savvy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to client stakeholders.
  • Oversee day-to-day delivery of data consulting engagements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
  • Translate business objectives into data solutions in collaboration with Solution Architects and other engineers
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, scope changes, and resource allocation.
  • Own revenue and margin targets across assigned accounts.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing clients and support new business development with an annual goal of $2.5+mil in account growth.
  • In partnership with Solution Architects, develop proposals, SOWs, and pitch materials in collaboration with sales and delivery teams.
  • Lead multi-functional teams across multiple workstreams; support team coaching and career development.
  • Ensure alignment between client expectations and internal delivery capacity.

The base salary range for this position for candidates based in the US is $160,000-215,000 per year. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, scope of role and budget. Candidates are not guaranteed to be placed at any particular point within the range, and most offers will fall within the middle of the range or below.
