Amazon's Compensation team is seeking a Principal Compensation Consultant to provide strategic compensation support to our Advertising, IMDb, and Grand Challenge (AIGC) organization. In this role, you will deliver on AIGC's compensation needs through strategic, analytical, and consulting services. Working directly with senior HR and Business leadership in a global organization operating at the leading edge of the Advertising space, you will build and evolve compensation programs that support the business's strategic objectives and provide hands‑on assistance across all areas of compensation analysis.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-moving environment and are comfortable navigating ambiguity. You must have a passion for working with complex data and a commitment to accuracy from start to finish in developing programs and completing projects. The successful candidate will proactively partner with HR Business Partners and Business leadership to identify and address compensation issues and evangelize Amazon's Total Compensation philosophy and strategy.
In this role, you will partner with HR, Business, and Recruiting leadership to develop and implement compensation strategies across multiple AIGC functional areas, including benchmarking and reviewing Advertising sales incentive programs for competitiveness. You will perform deep analysis on existing global compensation programs, develop creative solutions to complex total compensation challenges, and write compelling papers that articulate findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences. Success requires independently leading discussions with senior leaders, building alignment across multiple stakeholders, and establishing mechanisms that drive operational excellence.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
