Job summary

Aviatrix is seeking a Principal Solution Engineer in the US to combine cybersecurity expertise and sales acumen. You will serve as the primary security advisor for enterprise prospects, architect cloud networking and security solutions, and accelerate deal closure with the sales team.

The role requires deep cloud security knowledge, experience across AWS/Azure/GCP, and strong communication with both technical and executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on in network or cloud security.
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP and native security services.
• Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, micro-segmentation.
• Familiar with zero-trust architecture concepts.
• Understanding PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR.
• 5+ years in technical sales or sales engineering.
• Proven track record in complex B2B sales cycles.
• Excellent presentation and executive communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce and MEDDPICC.
• Translate technical concepts into business value.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary security SME during the sales process.
• Conduct discovery to identify security requirements and pain points.
• Design security architectures using Aviatrix solutions.
• Lead technical demos and PoC implementations.
• Respond to RFPs with security-focused content.
• Support differentiating Aviatrix security in competitive deals.
• Engage with CISOs and security teams during engagements.
• Collaborate with AEs on territory strategies and forecasting.
• Provide technical guidance through sales cycle and post-sale planning.
• Develop security content for marketing and thought leadership.
