Banner Health is seeking a Principal Cloud Architect to lead multi-cloud strategy across Azure, AWS, and OCI. The role emphasizes scalable architectures, security, and cost efficiency while partnering with Cybersecurity and IT teams to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in software/digital engineering, with 5+ years in cloud/microservices design at scale, and hands-on Kubernetes optimization plus AI tooling experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.
• At least 15 years of software engineering/digital engineering experience, including 5+ years designing and developing cloud & microservices at scale.
• Experience optimizing Kubernetes workloads on cloud platforms and with AI development tools.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and technical oversight in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, OCI) with a focus on scalability and compliance.
• Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of platform engineering service offerings.
• Act as a cloud-native technical resource to determine business needs and recommend solutions across cloud and platform ecosystems.
• Lead cloud adoption, migration, and governance efforts in collaboration with cybersecurity and IT partners.
• Design and implement automation tools for efficient cloud service deployment and operations.
• Mentor cloud engineers and promote adherence to cloud best practices.
