Alignerr is seeking a Principal Clinical Scientist (AI Training) to bring senior-level rigor to AI-driven clinical research workflows. You will ensure regulatory-grade data quality and interpretability for model training and evaluation, while collaborating with world-leading AI teams.

The role is fully remote, hourly contracted, offering flexible hours and autonomy to contribute to global projects that influence regulatory science and AI-enabled clinical decision making.

Qualifications

• Senior clinical scientist with hands-on experience designing trial protocols for regulatory submission.
• Experience interpreting clinical data for regulatory agencies (FDA, EMA, or equivalent).
• Strong background in clinical research methodology, biostatistics, or translational science.
• Detail-oriented, rigorous and able to work independently in an async, remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and review clinical trial protocols used to generate high-quality, regulator-ready datasets for AI training.
• Interpret and audit clinical trial results to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory relevance.
• Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and regulatory alignment.
• Provide expert, structured feedback to improve how AI models reason about clinical trial data and real-world outcomes.
• Help define the standards by which AI systems engage with clinical evidence.
