Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage projects from inception through completion, ensuring technical quality and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and provide guidance to early and mid career professionals within the team.
• Oversee detailed site‑civil design, including grading, drainage, and utility layout.
• Oversee hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater management and floodplain studies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and obtain local, state, and federal permits for projects.
• Utilize business skills relevant to consulting, such as client relationship management and proposal development, to develop an infrastructure engineering practice.
• Lead a team of early, mid and late career professionals to complete projects.
• Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• At least 10 years (15+ preferred) of direct site civil engineering and consulting experience (required); or equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
• Managing complex interdisciplinary projects for private and public sector clients.
• Effective business development and client management skills.
• Technical leadership for civil design and site layout.
• Task and project management (required).
• Strong oral and technical writing skills (required).
• Relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil3D, SWMM, HydroCAD, and ArcGIS) preferred.
• Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client‑driven drug and background testing may be required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel (required).
