Job summary

This is a senior, hands-on technical leadership role in an early-stage environment. You will work with the engineering leadership team to take aircraft concepts from blank-sheet designs through simulation, test, and flight, and define how aerodynamic problems should be solved, not just run

Qualifications

• 15+ years in CFD, aerodynamics, or closely related disciplines.
• Expert knowledge of fluid mechanics and aerodynamic design.
• Experience across low-order to high-fidelity methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of aerodynamic analysis, CFD, aeroelasticity, FSI.
• Define tools, workflows, verification and validation practices.
• Mentor engineers and define make-versus-buy decisions.
• Collaborate with leadership to move concepts from concept to flight.
