Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a strategic sourcing professional to manage the IC controller category for SSD and storage products.

You will develop supplier portfolios, negotiate supply agreements, and drive cost reduction initiatives, while coordinating with engineering, quality, business units and legal to ensure timely execution. The role requires up to 15% travel and a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience.

Manage the IC Controller Category for SSD and storage products with responsibility for supplier portfolio and overall controller category performance. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support business requirements, including supplier negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, and proactive supply risk management. Lead sourcing processes such as RFPs, award letters, and SOWs, coordinating with engineering, quality, business units and legal to ensure compliance and timely execution. Engage with executives and cross-functional team to align commercial, technical, and supply priorities in support of new product introduction and production ramp. Negotiate supply agreements with key suppliers to secure capacity, support product launches, and ensure long-term supply continuity.

Up to 15% domestic travel required. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $154,670.00 - $249,000.00.
