Zusammenfassung

Zone 5 Technologies is seeking a principal-level C#/.NET software engineer with embedded or real-time depth to lead the design and evolution of high-assurance software for autonomous UAS platforms in the aerospace/defense sector.

You will own major software subsystems, collaborate across systems, hardware, and cybersecurity teams, and drive technical excellence in a regulated environment while mentoring engineers and shaping certifications and roadmaps.

Qualifikationen

• 8–15+ years of professional software engineering experience in safety-critical domains.
• Strong proficiency in C# and embedded/real-time development.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD, and AWS in aerospace contexts.

Aufgaben

• Lead architecture, design, implementation, and verification of embedded and app-level software for high-reliability UAS systems.
• Own end-to-end technical ownership of major software components or subsystems.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, GNC, flight test, and cybersecurity teams to define requirements and integrate software into flight demonstrations.
• Champion modern development practices: CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and deployment strategies for cloud-edge hybrid environments.
• Mentor mid-level and senior engineers; conduct reviews and establish best practices.
