Job summary

TYG, a leading architecture, engineering, and construction consultancy, seeks a Principal, Building Envelope for the Miami - Fort Lauderdale market. This executive role combines technical leadership with business development, overseeing complex building enclosure projects and mentoring technical teams.

The position emphasizes lead generation, managing high-level client relationships, and ensuring top-quality delivery across façades, roofing, waterproofing, and rehabilitation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science or related field.
• 10-15 years of building envelope consulting experience.
• PE or RA license required.
• Proven experience leading complex projects, managing client relationships and growing a consulting practice.
• Strong knowledge of building enclosure systems, building codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and practice growth.
• Manage executive-level client relationships.
• Oversee projects involving façades, roofing, waterproofing, fenestration, rehabilitation and forensic investigations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor staff and ensure quality project delivery.
