Job summary

Fox News Media is seeking a Principal Systems Design Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our broadcast infrastructure projects. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, vendors, and clients to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications include PMP and a strong foundation in broadcast and IT infrastructure, with hands-on experience in IP-based solutions, cloud workflows, and asset management.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical projects in broadcast, A/V, or media tech systems integration.
• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Strong core broadcast/IT infra knowledge (routing, signal flow, networking, storage).
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead project lifecycle for broadcast systems installations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables; create plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and clients.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures; identify risks; ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Maintain detailed docs (specs, change orders, reports, handover).
• Knowledge of modern broadcast tech (IP video/SMPTE 2110, cloud, baseband, asset management).
