Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Troy, New York, is seeking an Equipment Engineer to specify and commission small equipment and components for biopharmaceutical process systems.

You will evaluate functional equivalence and author test plans to demonstrate suitability of replacement equipment, supporting manufacturing operations and QA validation. This role offers an onsite schedule with Monday–Friday hours in a fast-growing science-driven organization making medicines for patients worldwide.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in engineering; chemical/biochemical/mechanical preferred
• 5+ years equipment engineering experience (Senior); 8+ years (Principal)
• Direct experience in equipment engineering and biopharmaceutical process equipment is highly desirable

Responsabilités

• Specify cGMP process equipment, components, and spare parts
• Evaluate equipment for Functional Equivalence to existing equipment
• Assist in design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment
• Write and execute test plans demonstrating equipment suitability
• Support QA Validation by preparing design documents and assisting in protocol execution
• Author, review, and revise Standard Equipment Specifications
• Implement corrective/preventive actions for existing equipment
• Prepare engineering evaluations and test plans for change control documentation
• Support large capital projects in a spare parts capacity
