Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Troy, New York is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to design, specify, and commission new and renovated process and clean utility equipment.

You will lead deviation investigations and provide engineering support across manufacturing processes, contributing to life-changing medicines. This onsite role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, supervising contractors, and driving compliant engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of project/process engineering experience for Senior level.
• Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment preferred.
• Solid understanding of process control systems and automation.
• Thorough knowledge of cGMP process equipment documentation and sanitary equipment design requirements.
• Experience planning and tracking project activities and schedules.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls.
• Manage mid-to-large projects for process equipment and clean utilities.
• Lead design review and installation of equipment.
• Prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams and Process Flow Diagrams.
• Support QA/Validation with design documents and protocol execution.
• Investigate equipment, utility, and control system anomalies; implement CAPAs.
• Supervise mechanical, electrical, and automation contractors.
