Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is hiring a Solutions Architect Principal to design and govern Azure cloud architectures for the Veterans Affairs portfolio. This fully remote, full-time role requires expert cloud experience, strong security oversight, and collaboration with proposal teams.

You will lead pre-bid activities, guide technical staff, and ensure delivery within cost and schedule constraints. Prior experience with HIPAA/GDPR-like frameworks is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services.
• Deep knowledge of Azure security services and governance practices.
• Experience with multi-subscription Azure environments and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of complete Azure-based solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Collaborate with BD, capture, and proposal teams to optimize solutions.
• Coordinate assignment of technical personnel to proposal efforts.
• Design, implement, and govern secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures.
• Mentor engineers and maintain architectural standards.
• Ensure alignment with security, cost, and compliance requirements.
