Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Solutions Architect Principal for a 100% remote role supporting the Veterans Affairs program. The candidate will architect secure, scalable Azure solutions, lead proposal development, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.

Required are extensive Azure experience, security know-how, and the ability to guide staff and stakeholders through complex cloud initiatives in a government context.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services.
• Experience with large-scale, high-availability, and scalable cloud architecture.
• Extensive experience in core Azure services and security best practices.
• Ability to design secure, cost-aware Azure cloud solutions for enterprise needs.
• Experience using automation and IaC to govern Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive solutions meeting requirements for competitive proposals.
• Collaborate with BD, capture, and proposal teams to optimize proposed solutions.
• Coordinate technical staff for pre-bid and proposal activities.
• Design, implement, and govern secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures.
• Provide SME guidance to meet customer technical, schedule, and cost needs.
