Job summary

TENEX.AI is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to own the Azure platform, CI/CD pipelines, and SRE practices at scale, ensuring high availability and security for petabytes of security data. You will collaborate with Software, AI/ML, and Security Operations to drive automation and cost efficiency.

Ideal candidates have deep Azure expertise, production Go/Python experience, and a strong background in containerization, Terraform, and IaC.

Qualifications

8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
Deep Azure platform experience including AKS, Entra ID, VNet design and Private Link.

Responsibilities

Architect Azure platform at scale handling petabytes of data and billions of events.
Define Azure governance, subscription structure, policies, network and identity.
Lead SRE initiatives, set SLOs/SLIs, manage on-call rotations.
Improve ops with monitoring, observability, automated provisioning, and DR.
Enforce DevSecOps, CI/CD, IaC, security testing, and deployment mechanisms.
Automate deployment, scaling, and management of microservices with Docker/Kubernetes.
Maintain workload portability and reversible infra decisions.
Collaborate with engineering to optimize performance and cost.
Mentor teams on Azure architecture, reliability, and security-first development.
Translate product requirements into scalable platform solutions.
Evaluate new infra tech to maintain competitive edge.
