Job summary

Cognizant Consulting is seeking a Consulting Principal, Solutions Engineering Lead to design and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions. You’ll own architectural outcomes, lead migrations, modernizations, and cloud-native patterns while partnering with AWS architects, Cognizant delivery leaders, and client teams.

Remote position for qualified US applicants; strong focus on AWS, CDK/TypeScript, DevSecOps, and cloud-native engineering with leadership and advisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineering experience with AWS.
• Expertise in CDK/TypeScript for IaC and secure by design architectures.
• Experience with enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Proven CI/CD and DevSecOps engineering capabilities with security gates.
• Experience in consulting delivery, leadership, and client collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions aligned with Well‑Architected framework.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization of applications to AWS with containerization.
• Design and build Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and TypeScript.
• Engineer secure DevSecOps and CI/CD capabilities with automation.
• Act as trusted technical advisor, leading discovery sessions and workshops.
