Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Consulting Principal, Solutions Engineering Lead to design and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions for complex migrations and platform transformations. You will own architectural outcomes and mentor client teams in cloud-native engineering and DevSecOps practices.

Based in the United States with a flexible remote model, you will collaborate with AWS architects and Cognizant delivery leadership to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineering experience, including 5+ years focused on AWS.
• Strong hands-on AWS CDK and TypeScript expertise, including authoring L2/L3 constructs and cross-account deployments.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise cloud migration and application modernization with container expertise (Docker, ECS/Fargate, EKS).
• Strong CI/CD and DevSecOps engineering experience with pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI and cloud-security guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions aligned with Well‑Architected principles.
• Lead cloud migration and application modernization initiatives, focusing on ECS/Fargate and serverless patterns.
• Design and build Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and TypeScript across accounts.
• Engineer secure DevSecOps and CI/CD capabilities with automated security and compliance controls.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, leading discovery sessions and architecture reviews.
