Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Consulting Principal, Solutions Engineering Lead to design and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions enabling migration, modernization, and platform transformation. You will lead with AWS CDK/TypeScript, DevSecOps, and coaching for client teams from discovery to knowledge transfer.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery with consulting leadership, working with AWS architects and client teams across roles to build scalable cloud capabilities

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineering experience, including 5+ years focused on AWS.
• Strong hands-on AWS CDK and TypeScript expertise.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise cloud migration and application modernization, with strong container expertise (Docker, ECS/Fargate, EKS).
• Strong CI/CD and DevSecOps engineering experience with pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) and security guardrails.
• Demonstrated consulting and client-facing delivery experience with architecture leadership and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise AWS cloud solutions aligned with AWS Well‑Architected principles.
• Lead cloud migration and application modernization initiatives.
• Design and build Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and TypeScript.
• Engineer secure DevSecOps and CI/CD capabilities.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to client teams, leading workshops and knowledge transfer.
