Capital One is seeking a Principal Auditor for Audit Practices - Methodology in a hybrid role. The candidate will focus on aligning and modernizing our audit methodology, board reporting, and regulatory management, while driving department-wide improvements through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities include updating methodology, designing processes, managing projects, and coaching audit teams. A strong emphasis on data analytics and cross‑functional collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience is required.
• 2+ years leading audit projects and at least 4 years in auditing, accounting, financial analysis, or compliance preferred.
• Master’s Degree and professional certifications are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Update and modernize audit methodology; conduct research and align with regulations.
• Design and execute best-in-class audit processes and projects.
• Coordinate small to moderately complex projects within timelines.
• Prepare and deliver clear written and verbal communications to audit teams and leadership.
• Leverage data analytics to drive insights on department behavior and challenges.
• Provide training and coaching to audit team members.
