NextEra Energy Resources in Florida seeks an experienced commercial transactions attorney to support growth of clean energy ventures, including distributed generation, residential solar, hydrogen, mobility, and other technologies.
You will draft and negotiate offtake, joint development and venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and other relevant commercial contracts, collaborating with clients, management, and counterparties in a fast-paced environment.

Seeking an experienced commercial transactions attorney to join a team dedicated to supporting the growth and development of several of NextEra Energy Resources’ clean energy business ventures, including distributed generation, residential solar, hydrogen, mobility, reclaimed water, and other clean energy technologies.
The attorney would be responsible for: drafting and negotiating offtake agreements, such as power purchase, supply, and energy storage agreements, joint development and teaming agreements, joint venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements and other commercial agreements connected to the development of clean energy projects.
Applicant must be a team player with demonstrated commercial acumen and strong drafting and negotiation skills who related well with clients, management and counterparties and who can thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Employees in this job participate in complex legal matters and projects and deliver timely and quality legal services to clients with moderate supervision.
