Position Specific Description
Seeking an experienced commercial transactions attorney to support complex commercial transactions for NextEra’s natural-gas fired generation, data center, and advanced nuclear development businesses. The attorney would be responsible for drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements, tolling agreements, joint venture agreements, joint development agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and other commercial agreements related to these fast-growing businesses. Applicant must be a team player with a demonstrated commercial acumen who relates well with clients, management, and counterparties and who can thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Prior experience with energy commercial transactional work is strongly preferred. This role will sit onsite out of our Juno Beach, FL HQ.
