Focus: Single-Family Residential / Residential Development

I’m working on a Principal Architect opportunity with a growing residential development platform focused on single-family homes, residential communities, and townhome projects throughout the Bay Area.

This is a senior-level architectural leadership role with significant ownership across design, technical documentation, permitting, consultant coordination, and construction administration.

Key Highlights:

• Residential Architecture – Lead single-family, townhome, and residential community projects from feasibility through construction
• Technical Leadership – Review and improve construction documents, architectural detailing, drawing standards, and QA/QC processes
• Bay Area Permitting – Lead planning and permitting efforts across Bay Area jurisdictions and work through plan‑check comments
• Developer‑Focused – Work directly with real estate development teams to balance design quality, budget, constructability, and schedule
• Team Leadership – Mentor architects and designers while establishing efficient production workflows and standards
• Project Ownership – Coordinate structural, civil, MEP, landscape, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle

Ideal Background:

• 10–15+ years of professional architectural experience
• California architectural license (RA) or equivalent
• Strong single‑family residential, townhome, or residential development experience
• Significant Bay Area planning/permitting experience
• Strong Revit and technical documentation skills
• Experience leading and mentoring architectural teams
