Job summary

Soni is seeking a highly technical Principal Architect to own domain technology strategy for AI, Data, Benefits, or Wealth Management platforms. This hands-on leader will continue to build, operate, and improve production systems while guiding multiple engineering teams.

You will balance strategic planning with coding, drive reliability and platform modernization, participate in on-call rotations, and set standards for architecture, security, and scalability across the domain.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
10+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems.
3+ years in a Principal Engineer/Architect or equivalent leadership role.
Proven track record owning complex enterprise platforms from architecture to production.
Demonstrated ability to influence engineering through technical leadership, not management.

Responsibilities

Own the domain technology strategy, architecture, reliability, and delivery outcomes.
Lead design and implementation of complex distributed systems and cloud-native solutions.
Balance strategic thinking with hands-on implementation and incident response.
