Job summary

Jeppesen ForeFlight seeks a Principal Engineer to define the long‑term architecture for Engineering Core Services, focusing on a modern, shared identity foundation that spans product lines.

You will own the CIAM platform, drive authentication and entitlement consolidation, and influence multiple engineering teams while guiding a migration strategy for legacy capabilities to modern shared platforms.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering experience with architecture for shared services.
• Experience building CIAM platforms at scale across multiple products.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native design and modern identity systems.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and 2–3 year roadmap for Engineering Core Services.
• Lead CIAM platform architecture and identity consolidation across products.
• Shape subscription/billing platform strategy and migrations.
• Set standards for contract, entitlement, and catalog models.
• Mentor senior engineers and represent Core Services in forums.
