The role is remote for US-based candidates, with compensation ranging from $180,000 to $220,000 annually, and a strong emphasis on SME leadership and hands-on depth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cloud foundation solutions architecture.
• 10+ years with virtualization and associated products in enterprise settings.
• 8-10+ years of progressively responsible technical experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Required certifications: Broadcom Knight, VMware Certified Advanced Professional

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and solution delivery for cloud foundation projects.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cloud foundation.
• Provide leadership for SDDC, cloud management, and network virtualization solutions.

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Architect - Cloud Foundation to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will lead cloud foundation architecture and solution delivery for enterprise clients, with a strong focus on virtualization, cloud management, and network virtualization environments. The architect will serve as a trusted technical SME, partnering closely with sales and services teams to shape solutions, identify professional services opportunities, and guide successful implementations. This position also calls for hands‑on technical depth, mentorship of other architects and consultants, and strong alignment with DevOps and security best practices.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually
