Lumen is seeking a Principal Architect, Cloud FinOps to lead cost-aware cloud strategy across a multi-cloud environment. You will partner with Engineering, Finance, and leadership to ensure cloud investments deliver measurable business value while maintaining performance, security, and scalability.

This remote US role demands deep expertise in enterprise architecture, FinOps, and cloud economics, with the ability to influence executives and drive enterprise-wide governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, or technology strategy experience.
• 8+ years of public cloud experience across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• 5+ years of FinOps, cloud governance, or cost optimization experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern multi-cloud architecture standards across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Lead cost-optimization and FinOps practices to embed financial accountability in design decisions.
