What You'll Do:

  • Mentor and support a team of data analysts, data scientists, backend engineers, and data engineers, creating a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Build our next-gen graph, leveraging data analytics, data science, and machine learning, in addition to our rich suite of data sources.
  • Define and drive the technical vision for our attribution solutions, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Oversee the design and development of microservices, APIs, and data pipelines that power attribution.
  • Champion engineering best practices like code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/deployment.
  • Jump in with hands-on technical guidance when needed to unblock the team or provide architectural support.
  • Take ownership of projects end-to-end, identifying risks and managing dependencies along the way.

What You'll Bring:

  • 15+ years of technical experience in data engineering, data analysis, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of data science and/or machine learning experience.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling high-traffic platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SQL, distributed SQL-based data warehousing, and operational PostgreSQL databases.
  • Experienced with NoSQL databases, recognizing how to leverage graph databases depending on the application.
  • Strong understanding of modern data pipelining technologies (e.g., Spark).
  • Experience with Google Cloud or Amazon Web Services.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with ad tech platforms, ad tech concepts, and attribution is a plus.
